Each time the AI consults your data the call is recorded — which tool, which arguments, how many rows. That record is the citation behind an answer and the audit of what the AI saw, which are the same thing looked at from two directions.

It cannot see what you cannot see
The AI inherits your permissions. It does not sit above them.
The tools offered to the model are chosen by the asker's role, and every query is scoped to their school before it runs. A PYP teacher's question is answered from PYP children; a question about another school returns nothing, because the tool was never able to ask.

How: No tool accepts a school id from the caller — it is taken from the verified session. Role is checked before execution, not after.
What it will not do
It does not send anything to a student or a family on its own. It does not answer from another school's data, because the tools it uses cannot be pointed at one. It does not grade a child without a teacher approving the result. And where it has not been given enough to answer, it says so rather than producing something that reads well.
