Programme, unit and inquiry — planned as one thing
The IB asks for planning that connects a programme of inquiry to concepts, to units, to the learning experiences that carry them. skodle models that chain directly, so a unit is not a document that happens to mention a concept — it is linked to it, and coverage can be counted.

Why it matters
- A curriculum map that lives in a spreadsheet cannot tell you which concepts are never taught. One that is modelled can.
- PYP, MYP and interdisciplinary units share a foundation but keep their own workflows, so neither is bent into the other's shape.
- Learning experiences sit between a unit and its assessment, which is where most planning tools have a gap.
- Versioned frameworks mean a unit planned two years ago still reads against the framework it was planned against.

Planning software cannot make a unit good. It can show a coordinator which units have no evidence, no assessment or no stated inquiry — and that is what this does.
