How do we pay for skodle?

Email hello@skodle.com and we will send an invoice for your seat count and plan. There is no card checkout on the site today: school finance offices generally pay against an invoice with a purchase order anyway, and we would rather do that properly than put a card form in front of a bursar who cannot use it. Tell us how many staff, students and parents you have and we will confirm the tier and the monthly figure before anything is signed.

How does skodle pricing work?

skodle is priced per user, per month, and every plan includes all features — the only difference is the rate, which is set by your size. Spark is $2 per user for up to 150 users; Momentum is $3 per user for 151–500; Pinnacle is a custom plan above 500. Parents are charged at half the rate: $1 a month on Spark and $1.50 on Momentum. Staff and students are the full rate.

Do you charge for parent accounts?

Yes, but at half the rate: $1 per parent per month on Spark and $1.50 on Momentum, against $2 and $3 for staff and students. Parents are usually the largest group in a school and the lightest users of the platform, so charging them as staff would have made the bill reflect the size of the mailing list rather than the size of the school. Parents still count toward your total user number, which is what sets your tier and your seat allowance.

Which plan are we on?

Your plan follows your user count. Schools with up to 150 users are on Spark, 151–500 users are on Momentum, and anything above 500 is Pinnacle. You agree a seat allowance up front and can add seats or move up a tier whenever you grow — email hello@skodle.com and we will apply the change from your next cycle.

Question 5

What happens if we reach our seat limit?

Your account count is capped at the number of seats agreed. When you are full, adding another person is blocked until seats are added — so there are never surprise charges. Email hello@skodle.com to add seats and we will apply them straight away, billed from the next cycle.

Question 6

Can we see skodle before we buy?

Accepted Answer

Yes — book a demo and we will run it on your own curriculum rather than on sample data, with someone who has taught the programme. We do not offer a self-serve free trial: skodle is worth judging on your own units and your own reporting cycle, and that takes a conversation to set up rather than a signup form. If you want to start with one section rather than the whole school, say so and we will price it that way.

Do you offer custom pricing for large schools or networks?

Yes. Pinnacle (500+ users) and multi-campus networks get a tailored plan with volume pricing, a named success manager, and dedicated onboarding. Reach out and we'll respond within one business day.

Question 8

Can we change plans later?

Accepted Answer

Any time. As your user count grows you simply add seats or move up a tier — Spark to Momentum to Pinnacle — and billing adjusts from your next cycle.

Question 9

Can we cancel, and do you refund?

Accepted Answer

Email hello@skodle.com and we will cancel it, with no notice period and no retention call. The subscription runs to the end of the month already paid for and stops there; nothing further is charged. We do not refund months already billed, and because billing is monthly the most a school can have paid for and not used is the remainder of the current month. Seats you remove take effect from the next cycle, so a school that shrinks pays less from the following month.
