Approaches to Learning, learner-profile evidence, reflections, projects and the DP core are longitudinal — they only mean something across time. They are stored as a record a student carries between years, not as a field that gets overwritten each term.

ATL skills and learner-profile attributes are only visible as a pattern; a single term tells you almost nothing.
Projects — PYP Exhibition, MYP Personal and Community, CAS — share a supervision and milestone model rather than four separate ones.
The DP core carries drafts, supervisor feedback and milestones, so a missed deadline is visible before results day.
A portfolio families can follow shows the work, not just a percentage at the end of term.
