Integrations: what the framework covers today
skodle does not come with pre-built connectors to other school systems. What it has is an integration framework: a school registers its own application with the provider, supplies the credentials, and skodle records the connection, its status and its errors. Until a connection is set up, data moves between skodle and your other tools by import and export.

Each connection needs an application the school registers with the provider, using the school's own credentials rather than a shared skodle account.
Framework, not connectors
Every entry below is a framework: it can hold a connection once one exists. None is connected out of the box.
Import and export today
Students and staff can be imported from a spreadsheet. Historical grades, attendance and portfolio media are not imported.
Workspaces
Bring Google or Microsoft classes, calendars and files alongside school data.
Google Workspace
Framework onlyClassroom rosters, Drive files and Calendar events alongside school data.
What you bring: A Google Cloud project with OAuth consent configured, and the client credentials added to the server.
Microsoft 365 & Teams
Framework onlyTeams classes, Outlook calendars and OneDrive documents.
What you bring: An Entra ID app registration with delegated permissions granted by a tenant admin.
Student information systems
Sync student and staff records from the system you already use.
SIS / ERP
Framework onlySync the authoritative student and staff records from your existing system.
What you bring: An export endpoint or API from the incumbent SIS, plus a field mapping agreed with that vendor.
Messaging & payments
Send messages through your own provider, and collect fees through your own payment account.
SMS & email provider
Framework onlySend announcements and alerts through your existing provider.
What you bring: An account with a provider (e.g. Twilio, SendGrid) and its API key on the server.
Payments & finance
Framework onlyFee collection and reconciliation against invoices.
What you bring: A Stripe (or equivalent) account with keys configured. skodle's billing layer is already wired for Stripe.
Data & storage
Send school metrics to your own warehouse, and keep media in your own bucket.
Analytics warehouse

What you bring: A warehouse project and a service account with write access to the target dataset.
Cloud storage
Framework onlyKeep evidence and portfolio media in your own bucket.
What you bring: An S3-compatible bucket and credentials. skodle already uses S3-compatible storage internally.
Single sign-on
A school administrator can configure sign-in with Google, Microsoft or another OpenID Connect provider using the school's own credentials. A sign-in button for it is not yet on the login page, so today staff, students and families sign in with their email and a one-time code or a password.
