Where skodle does use AI elsewhere in the platform — drafting a unit plan, a rubric or report comments — that draft goes to a teacher or coordinator for review before it reaches a student or a parent. Nothing about attendance skips that same discipline: a flagged pattern is a prompt for a person to look, not a decision made for them.
A morning, before and after
Before: a teacher takes attendance on paper, transcribes it into a spreadsheet at lunch, a coordinator chases three unexplained absences by email, and a parent's question about their child's attendance rate takes until the next day to answer because it means someone counting rows by hand.
After: the teacher marks the register once, on the device already in front of them.
