Evidencing accreditation as you go

The standards and practices your programme is judged against are loaded as records. Each one is something the school will have to show, and each begins as not started — an honest position rather than an empty folder implying nothing is required.

Evidence lives in one store that every part of the platform links into. A unit reflection, a standardisation record, a meeting note — each can support several practices without being uploaded more than once.

Attaching evidence in the week it was produced is the whole method. It is the same work as collecting it later, done at the point it costs nothing.

A practice moves from not started, to in progress, to met. Met is a judgement a person makes about whether the evidence is sufficient — the software counts artefacts, it does not decide whether they are convincing.

What has no evidence yet is the useful view, and it is available all year rather than in the term before a visit. Actions can be assigned against a practice so the gap has an owner instead of a note.

The visiting-team pack is a report you run, not a folder you build, because the mapping from evidence to practice was recorded as the evidence arrived.

A self-study with no weaknesses in it reads as incurious. The gap view is as much a part of the pack as the met practices.
