A career profile holds aspirations, interests, achievements and activities. Recording the aspiration early is what makes the later conversation about the gap between it and the record, rather than a discovery in the final year.

Applications sit against the student with their status, so a counsellor's view is one list rather than a spreadsheet per cohort. Because it lives with the academic record, a predicted grade and an offer condition are visible together.

Promotion copies the record forward rather than moving it, so the student history a school is asked about years later is still there. Outcome data survives the student leaving.

Designations are assigned in IB roles and are separate from the account role somebody signs in with.

If something looks empty
Outcomes are missing for last year's cohort
They are recorded at the point students leave. If nobody captured them then, the alumni record is where to add them.
A graduate has vanished from the student list
They have been promoted to graduate. Promotion copies the record forward rather than moving it, so the history remains.
